Open to all Island high school students in Prince Edward Island, the Ä¢¹½TV Transitions Program offers a unique opportunity to explore careers, gain workplace experience, and build connections with industry and community partners while earning high school credits!

Transitions is a two-credit high school course offers students an opportunity to explore potential post-secondary options in a college setting for two hours each day.  Students work together in small groups in a variety of college-related experiences where they cultivate a level of professionalism required for post-secondary success.

How it works

Through hands-on learning and real-world experiences, students explore future pathways and make informed decisions about education, training, and career opportunities. Along the way, they gain valuable skills, build confidence, and discover how their interests, strengths, and passions can lead to meaningful careers.
High School students spend half of their school day working with Ä¢¹½TV Transitions mentors immersed in projects, workplace experiences, community partnerships, and experiential learning opportunities that extend beyond the traditional classroom. The classroom experience is complemented with a variety of community experiences, tours of local small businesses and non-profit organizations.
